Good Friday is Talisman Day?

In Philippine occult parlance, Good Friday of the Holy Week is supposed to be a great day for talisman hunting or adding power to one you already have. So, quacks and witches are supposed to be in cemeteries or mountains during Good Friday for this purpose. Their favorite mountain is said to be Banahaw.


Days do not decide or endow supernatural power, evil or good. Power and authority only comes from God. Even evil power is power the devil stole from God--and which God allows in the meantime. Evil power is allowed by God to test the hearts of men, even to test the faith of His people.


The devil has no power.


Jesus announced with finality: "All authority under heaven has been given me." You see that? He said "ALL." That means the devil has no power. He can only have or do what God permits him to. Only God is powerful; there is no other.


But do not underestimate quacks and witches. They have power over people who are not living right now in God's spiritual and supernatural Kingdom. If you're just a religious person attending your church faithfully, being active there--even your "Christian" church--quacks and witches can easily play tricks on you, even deadly tricks. But you should not fear them if Jesus Christ is living in you 100 percent. Christ living in you means you're living daily in God's Kingdom under God's sovereign power and protection.


Christians who do not believe in holiness and perfection in Christ will have grave trouble fighting the occult. They are not spiritually equipped and have no way of discerning demonic activities happening right under their noses. I've seen how even pastors are deceived by demonic activities, playing right into the devil's plans, because all they know is their denominational programs, doctrines, and activities.


A lot of deceived born again Christians do not believe that demonic rituals for evil power are still alive and effective especially against them. They laugh at the notion and dismiss it with their focus on worldly church activities--like their church programs. So here is the scenario: while quacks and witches get real evil power that can destroy spiritually naive Christians, these naive Christians get nothing but spiritual garbage from their denominational religious programs and activities.


I sigh at the sight of so many Christians thinking that being active in church gives them spiritual power.


God Looks for Believers Who Will Really Believe His Supernatural Ministry


Now here's God. He's spirit. He's supernatural. He's been looking for believers who genuinely believe His Word--His supernatural Word--to use them for displaying His real signs and wonders, just as Jesus did them, and even greater works. But He sees so few who really seriously believe His Word. The rest are just active church members and propagandists. So few are seriously living the Jesus LIFE, having the Jesus character, and spreading the pure spoken Word in the bible with signs and wonders and healing and miracles.


If anyone is as serious as Jesus is about God and His Word, God gives him tremendous supernatural power, the same one the Holy Spirit used to resurrect Jesus from the grave. That power is more powerful than 100 million nuclear bombs detonated altogether. That power makes quack and witch power seem like a toy and renders folklore about how Good Friday is Talisman day a mere laughing stock.


The problem is, even Christians belittle or ignore God's supernatural power in believers. They sneer at the truth that Christ in you is the hope of glory. They're just satisfied that Christ in you can be used to expand your church denomination and get more tithes and offering.
