What is a Manananggal or Aswang?

A manananggal or aswang in Philippine horror parlance is an extraordinary human being who turns demonic creature at night time and is supposed to prey on humans for flesh or blood. The truth about them is that, they are indeed demons or humans under demonic curse.

The video below is supposed to be manananggals caught in video. Manananggals are said to be creatures that have their upper bodies separated from their lower bodies (waist down) during midnight and grow wings so they can fly and hunt down their prey. They reportedly leave their lower bodies somewhere secret and go back to it before sunlight. 

There is only one way to fight them, and that is through the Blood of the Lamb, or the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. It is not true that they can be warded off through the use of salt or garlic. Manananggals' lower bodies should be filled with salt to fight them off, say people who are supposed to be familiar with them. But in the spiritual realms, material things do not count. It's a spiritual battle. The victims may be humans (flesh and blood) but battling is done in the spirit. 

Demonic creatures can neither be hurt by what they call "holy water" or a crucifix, or a church building, or any religious equipment. Demons and other demonic creatures can only be hurt by the following:

1. People who have Jesus Christ in their lives (Jesus is in their bodies) and enjoying a healthy and living relationship with Him. They are empowered by the Holy Spirit who is in them.
2. People who meditate the Word of God everyday and live it out daily. 
3. Evil spirits and demons are hurt by the spoken Word of God. 
4. They are hurt by the Blood of Jesus covering a believer.
5. A fierce rebuke in the Name of Jesus Christ. 

But Garlic, Tawas, and Crucifix Methods Seem Effective! 

Why is it that evil spirits sometimes seem to be hurt by what quack doctors or Albularyos do to them during a quack treatment?

This is part of demonic deception. They act like they're "hurt" by these treatments to spread the notion that albularyo and tawas methods are effective. This way, gullible people would easily believe them and help spread the belief to others. Most religious people are victims of this. 

The garlic, tawas, and crucifix methods seem effective and even fool a lot of foreigners. The possessed victims do seem to get well. But they get well only for a time, and they often look well only because they are under the power of the quack treating them. Often, the quacks put them under their spell so that the victims become dependent on them. 

Jesus Christ: KING of Kings!

Jesus Christ delivers you from demonic activity for good. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." The New Testament is full of true stories where victims of demonic activities and influence are set free by Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

People who want to be set free from any demonic enslavement should surrender their lives to Jesus willingly and repent of their sins. They may seek the help of true Jesus believers (sometimes this is needed), or simply believe Jesus Christ all-out. 

Can Priestly Rituals and Latin Prayers Really Help?

Priestly rituals and Latin prayers are garbage. Christ never used them, neither did His apostles in the New Testament. They may look effective, along with other religious priestly tools, but these are all zero in the spirit realms. 

Sure Protection

To protect yourself from any demonic creatures or attacks (and even protect your immediate family), you should fully surrender your life to Jesus, repent of sins, and live Jesus' LIFE daily by meditating and living out His Word everyday. But don't just surrender your life to God out of fear of demons. Surrender to God because you trust Him and love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
