Faceless Lady

It's a common tale about ghosts of faceless ladies roaming around old buildings or houses at midnight. They are said to come out when you find yourself walking alone in dark corners of the street or old edifices. 

In one nursing night duty a nurse saw a lady walking towards the basement of an old hospital in Quezon City. Being her first time in the building she thought of asking the lady where the way to a certain department of the hospital was. So, she called out to her and ran after her. When she finally caught up with her the lady turned to her.

Then it happened.

The lady turned a blank face to the nurse. Up close, the nurse saw the faceless lady and then froze. It was good that she had the strength to run away. Most of the time, victims freeze, unable to do anything until some people find them white in the face and unable to move and talk. 

Later, she told about her ordeal to the rest of her team. They were frightened but they had no choice but to continue doing night shifts in the hospital. Most old hospitals have roaming spirits like this, scaring those who have little faith. And when I say little faith, these are people who think going to church every Sunday is faith. On the contrary, it may even increase chances of attracting demonic ghosts.

Anyway, faceless lady ghosts are scare tactics of the devil to keep people afraid of being in the dark alone. The scarier you are the better for the devil's work.
