Floating Friend Mystery

Here's a starling night updater. Fred's (not his real name) friend committed suicide at 21. The friend (let's call him Tager) was a highly intellectual guy but somehow distress overcame him and he decided to hang himself atop a huge mango tree in a remote rustic area. After some investigations, Tagar was placed in a funeral home.

Meanwhile, Fred was at home and just woke up. It was about 4 in the morning, the surroundings were still dark. Then it happened! This floating friend mystery! He just came out of the room when suddenly he saw Tagar walking in their corridor, his back turned to Fred. Tagar appeared to have emerged from the toilet. Fred saw that Tagar's feet didn't touch the floor. He was floating in the air. He traveled without his feet or legs moving, and moved towards the front door, his back still to Fred. Fred was dumbfounded, to say the least! A real floating friend mystery!

But he managed to find strength enough to pursue Tagar after the latter went through the door and outside. Fred still saw Tagar's back beyond the screen door, but after he opened it he found Tagar gone. He went out of the gate to check but found no sign of anyone. His heart was beating fast. Later, he told friends and neighbors about it. A Night Updater was there to hear all about the weird floating friend mystery.

Fred swore he really saw it, but then, sometimes people see (or imagine?) weird things like that when a close friend or relative just died. Or, some people just plain fabricate ghost stories to create sensation, especially when the cause of death is as mysterious as hanging oneself. Testimony's like Fred's are weak to consider as proof of any kind. But then , we never know. Fred probably might have seen something from the beyond.



You think it was Tagar's ghost that Fred saw? Nope. It was an evil spirit imitating Tagar and deceiving and scaring Fred and his friends.
